Jimmy began learning and practising Vipassana Meditation soon after his return from a pilgrimage to India, Nepal and Kasmair with Ven Mahinda, Ven Dhammavuddho and others in year 1987. Since then, he attended numerous Vipassana Meditation retreats under the guidance of Ven. Sujiva at Santisukharama, Kota Tinggi, Malaysia. In his course of learning Dhamma and meditation, he had had opportunities of meeting teachers like Sayadaw U Pandita, Sayadaw Pannathami, Sayadaw Pannananda, Sayadaw Kundala, Bhikkhu Bodhi, Ven Piyananda, Ven Rathanasara and few other teachers. Jimmy is the sponsor and webmaster for Vipissana Meditation Centre Singapore since 1998. |
